Cactus Bruce and the Corporate MonkeysTake the old classic breakout game, add a One Ton Grappling Claw, a barrel of monkeys armed with coconuts and a few good friends, put them all together and you have "Cactus Bruce and the Corporate Monkeys". Hoollabanger Corp is trying to pull some monkey business on Foster Island. Cactus Bruce is used to prickly situations and comes to the rescue with his One Ton Claw Machine. Using his claw he grabs bananas and hurls them at the bricks the monkeys are building hopefully taking out a monkey or two in the process. But these monkeys aren't just monkeying around. They strike back with coconuts, flaming coconuts and the occasional monkey wrench. Blocking these attacks and hurling bananas at the same time proves to be no easy task. Getting hit by the wrench locks up the claw for a couple of very vulnerable seconds. Catching the wrench allows you to knock out a few monkeys, leaving their bananas behind. This doesn't get rid of any bricks, however. Luckily for Cactus Bruce, he has a lot of friends. Billy the Elastic Blowfish swims nearby. He hates being touched by monkeys and jumps out of the water. Grab him and toss him at the monkeys. Billy will blow up and take out everything in his path. Dan the Featherweight Gnome hides in the clouds and drops helpful items by parachute. Dan starts by dropping flower pots. These won't break bricks, but they'll knock out any monkeys in its path. As the monkeys get more aggressive, Dan drops down more powerful friends, like Marvin the Exploding Snowman, who will break banana resistant bricks (bricks taking more than one hit to break) in one shot while taking out a few surrounding monkeys when he explodes. Simon the Trojan Horse takes out up to three resistant bricks, so aim wisely! When Petey the Pudgy Pigeon flies by, grab him. If you throw him at a monkey, he'll ricochet off and take out two others. Capture Oahz the Time Machine and he'll add 20 seconds to your clock. Hang on to him for a little bit and he'll slow down all the objects heading towards you. Mozart the Bonus Giving Goblin hides useful items in resistant bricks. Once these bricks are broken watch for these bonus items. Hearts give you an extra life. You'll need these since you only have three. Shields allow you protection from the coconuts, but not the wrenches. Catch the flaming bananas to get a shower of bananas. A Pandora's Box can be anything from bananas to Billy the Elastic Blowfish. Catch the "P" for bonus points. Grab a boot to speed up the claw, but avoid the turtles which slow it down. In the bonus rounds, hit as many monkeys as possible to collect bonus points. If things get a little hairy, get some proactive in the challenge rounds. Blue Tea Games will put a monkey on your back with this one. 90 levels of smooth graphics and game play make this new twist on an old classic an addiction everyone can enjoy.
