Swarm
Rampage
The sound engrosses you from the very beginning. As you enter the game, you immediately get the feeling that you are in a very hot and humid environment. The outstanding graphics and sound put you on location in the fight for survival in a bugs life. It amazed me how well the author captured the setting and the feeling of being that close to the ground, and the sounds were truly authentic. The game is Swarm Rampage, and if you ever played Swarm Assault, this is one great sequel. The basic premise of Swarm Rampage is you as an insect (I have made it through the Ant stage so far; beetles, moths, scorpions, wasps and spiders still to go) must defend your colony and make the decisions necessary to defeat any other colonies that threaten you. 60 levels for you to conquer all alone, and 20 multi-player levels. That's right, the Swarm has been networked! Now you can mount an attack across the LAN with 2-6 players. If you never played the original, don't worry, Mountain King has made it easy to learn. You can play the entire game with just the mouse, or perform advanced groupings of your "soldiers" with the keyboard. Overall, I like this game a lot. The concept is an interesting variation on many similar games you will find selling for twice the price. On top of that, you get great graphics and a sound that will be buzzing in your ears when you finally pull yourself away from the game. ;-) Operating System: Windows
