In addition to this asset, there are a number of other great features. Some of my favorites are the thumbnail browser, the ability to load images in the background, and a slideshow option. Smart Pix even makes it possible to save the files in .dll format to protect them from prying eyes.

Overall I found Smart Pix to be exactly what it promised. It was not only easy to install and use, but there's a ten-minute tutorial that cleared up every question I had about how it works. I was amazed by the speed and accuracy it displayed regardless of how many images were cataloged. For the low price, it is an exceptional value for anyone with images or video stored on their computer. I can say without hesitation that it is one of the best image viewers I have ever researched.
