When we set-out to design Plant-Life© we had but one goal in mind - that was to build an application that was easy-to-use but maintained the level of detail required to produce high quality 3D mesh media. We succeeded!

Ease of Use

Within Plant-Life© you'll find sliders, gadgets, buttons and input boxes. These simple to navigate gadgets allow unique creation to the plant media contained within Plant-Life©

Billboarding Feature

Not only can you export full 3D-media from within Plant-Life© but you may also choose to export simple 2-poly billboard meshes to act as LOD within your projects.

Media
Plant-Life© offers the designer more media options than any previous Aliencodec product to date! A huge collection of building materials ensures the designer plenty of unique building opportunities.

Each creation module contains it's own media pages packed full of rich, vivid photo-realistic textures. You may also choose to add your own!

Exporting Options
At Aliencodec we know one of the most important aspects with an application of this nature is export options. We have provided a full-range of exporting options that will help get the media you create from within Plant-life onto your hard-drive! Supported formats include: .X(Microsoft), .OBJ(wavefront), .SMD(Half-life), .TXT(milkshape), .ASC(3DMax), .DBO(darkBasciPro), .B3D(Blitz3D), .RAW(Standard RaW), .CSM(catagrohpyshop4) and .WRL(VRML 1.0/2.0)

Interface Editing
Plant-Life© contains many controls to allow viewing of the actual mesh within the editor. Through these controls the designer can fine-tune their creations. For example, one particular need may call for low poly counts - you can toggle on certain displays to see where your budget is being spent. From there the designer can further adjust the creation to fit their needs.

Creation Modules
Plant-Life© allows for creation of many different types of plants and foliage. The creation panels within Plant-Life© make up the instructions needed to create the plant types. Plant-Life© comes with 10 pre-installed modules which include; Flowers, Twigs, Ferns, Mushrooms, Bushes, Tropical, Lily Pads, Weeds, Grasses and Rocks! As if that wasn't enough, Plant-Life©'s modal design allows for easy addition for future module packs!
