Easily implement copy protection, serial numbers, network limitations, record limitations, expiration dates, execution limits and file record limitations. Easily adjust each protection scheme by entering a KEY which is unique to each application and customer. This product also features Tinman Development Corporation's proprietary resource technology to demo-ize your applications.

DAS_Registration was written to help software developers protect their hard work. It is very simple to initiate any of the many DAS_Registration features in the Clarion environment. Simply add the global template to your project file, check the option boxes that fit your needs, and fill in the blanks -- DAS_Registration does the rest of the work for you. The correct DAS_Registration library will automatically be linked into your application.

How It Works:

1. You distribute a product with one of the DAS_Registration crippling schemes
2. The end-user contacts you for a KEY when they decide to register or need to increase limits
3. You create the KEY with information (found within the application) that is provided to you by the end-user
4. They enter the KEY and off to work they go!

Features:

• Unique Serial Number Generation - Generates serial numbers at initial execution time that are dependent upon customer and company name
• Expiration Dates - Set by number of days after initial execution or a fixed date. Requires a KEY to get back into program
• Max Number of Executions - Allows for x number of executions then locks the program. Needs a KEY to get back into program
• Max Number of Database Records - You can setup as many files as you need. Requires a KEY to be able to increment the counter
• Each KEY is unique to the customer, the database and the date
• Network Limiter - Requires a KEY to increment concurrent workstation limit
• Distribute Demos - Set limitations on your applications and distribute it as a demo. When the end-user decides to purchase, you provide them with a unique KEY to disable the DEMO limitations
• Copy Protection - If activated, ties the EXE to the originally installed hardware. A Hardware Key is needed if they move it. This feature does allow for re-installations.
