DBExpert is both an end-user relational database and an application builder. DBExpert gives you all the advantages of rapid database application development through the integrated use of tables, forms, reports, queries, and macros. Its graphical interface makes it easy to create and change your design, yet gives you all the power of SQL and REXX when you need it. At the same time, it is the only fully-featured relational database system for OS/2 that can be used without programming or SQL.

DBExpert supports a wide range of database engines and formats. You can use it to develop front-end applications for enterprise-level relational databases, such as DB2. You can even mix database formats in a single DBExpert application.

A Runtime version is available for users that do not require the development capabilities, but do need to run DBExpert applications.

Requirements:

DBExpert needs OS/2 2.0 or higher (including OS/2 Warp, Warp Connect, and Warp Server). DBExpert is Warp 4 compatible and network Ready!

Its system requirements are the same as for OS/2 plus 5 Mbyte disk space.

No additional software is required to use dBase III, dBASE IV, Clipper, FoxPro, or FoxBASE tables.

To use DB2/2 tables, DB2/2 must be installed. For DB2/MVS, DB2/6000, and SQL/DS tables, DDCS/2 must be installed. To use Oracle tables, Oracle 7 must be installed.
