This is LinePlot, is a data graphing program that is oriented to the presentation of engineering and scientific data. Changes from previous release versions are documented in the on-line help, available the first time the program is run.

LinePlot's purpose is to produce quality graphs of scientific and engineering data that are usable for publications and presentations. The program is oriented towards X-Y type data, and produces only line and scatter type plots. LinePlot has a number of features that allow it to produce charts that are very difficult or impossible to do with other PC charting and graphing products, such as those found in spreadsheets. One example would be comparing different sized data sets on a log-log chart.

The program attempts to break the cycle of spread sheet graph preparation followed by export to a drawing program for major editing and rework or "genius" level programming of the spreadsheet. The means to accomplish this to allow multiple data sets, and give the program's user easy access to all potential variables in the graphing process.
